   I think the shading is rough and flat because you did them with zigzags. You might want to fill them up with varying pressure. That way, you'll get different values and create depth.
   
   The lines are also flat. Like shading, you need to add variation to create depth. Use thicker/darker lines in areas opposite of the light source and vice versa. Some of the lines are shaky/rugged and it shows that you have a lack of control. However, keep drawing and it'll fade away.

   Sadly no tablet yet. My family planned a trip to hawaii after i wanted to save up for a new pc+tablet.(Those bastards) The thing is i have to pay for anything i want to do there plus hotel room fees.(Family will pay for cruise)and cant afford to do both at the same time. We will see. There has been talks about the date of the trip being pushed back...so maybe i can still buy at least a tablet. I will ask my peoples and see what is going on.If it has been delayed i should be able to get one on the 10th of next month which is when i get payed.
   
   I would like to do an art trade with you,but...you know..^
